Stella has been so attached to this Teddy lately. I decided we need to document the tremendous bond she has with him. My husband has made a special voice for the Teddy and now he’s become her best friend. This is exactly why I love lifestyle photography. No special wardrobe changes, no fixing hair, no cleaning the house. Just real life. I love these images because it really emphasizes who Stella is. She’s not perfect. Her toenail polish is chipped. Her hair is a bit unkempt from playing at Preschool. Her room is messy. Her Teddy is her BFF.  It’s her life. It’s her environment. I try as hard as I can to try and remember to document her life as it is on a daily basis. As a photographer it’s easy to  get caught up in the perfect wardrobe, the hair, perfecting everything. As a Mom, I want to look back at the realistic portion of her childhood. The life she really actually lived on a daily basis.
